it's all downhill from here.

So I took my precal final today- a whole year summed up in thirty problems. And before that I took my US history presidents test.

Here's my story.

I stress out like you wouldn't believe. And I try not to make it rub off on others, but my family always gets hit with my stressed disposition.

So once upon a time, it was fast Sunday two days ago. I told Heavenly Father that my strength was gone.  I was so tired. I was so weak. I could not walk any farther. I have used my energy on service, young womens, stake youth committee, youth conference, seminary, my family, my friends, my scriptures, and any other work that ever got done. Noticing how tired and awful I must have looked, my dad asked me if I wanted to be released from one of my callings. Laurels president, being on seminary council and also on the stake youth committee was so hard.

But here's the thing.

The 

blessings

 are always greater than the

sacrifice.

and the Saviour has rescued me every time. How can I not trust him?

So that's what I fasted for. I was brought down to my knees, knowing that getting a good grade was physically impossible for me. I could not do it. I could not do it alone. I had to learn trust. That's what He was teaching me. and that's what I prayed for. 

I told him I'd done what I could---all 200 math problems. I'd memorized to the best of my abilities the presidents for my US history test, how many terms they served, and two facts for each one. Physically and mentally I couldn't do any more.

That's where God steps in. Because He won't ever.

EVER

sit back and watch you

cry,

be stressed,

sit alone,

or fall down.

He will never,

EVER

leave you alone.

I know because He lifted me and carried me,

hugged me and loved me,

cried with me and sat next to me

when I needed him most.

And that's what He did today.

If my mind suddenly went blank, I would sit, and think, and answers that I never would have been able to remember on my own would pop into my mind. Some of them came instantly and some of them He told me to start working and the answer would come later. And it always did.

So now....

i am DONE.

here's the poem I posted a while ago. It's so applicable to me today. And the Saviour is there for you too. Whoever you are :)

I could not bear the wind today, and so I knelt and wept and prayed,

And when I lifted up my head, my tears were gone and Christ, He said,

“Trust in me for I am here; call my name and I’ll be there.

Remember all thy trials shall be but a moment of adversity.”

And so my burden became light, and for a moment, I’m alright.

I had to walk alone today, for sometimes right is the lonely way.

It seemed that friends did me forsake, and so my heart began to ache.

But then my Savior’s voice rang clear: “Daughter,” He said, “You must not fear.

Although alone it seems you stand, I’m here: reach up and take my hand.”

So Christ, my Savior became my Light. Now, for a moment, I’m alright.

I couldn’t carry my load today; I tripped and fell along my way.

My burden seemed too hard to bear, but then I remembered Christ was there.

And since He’d given me strength before, I knew he’d lift me up once more.

For he has born all pain for me – He suffered in Gethsemane.

And so I stood, my burden light, because he came. And I’m alright.

Now everything is alright. 

and....drum roll please....

 school is

 OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is sunshine in my soul today :)

sunshine,

blessed sunshine

when the peaceful,

happy moments roll.

when Jesus shows

his smiling face,

There is
