Among the many blessings of my life, one has been the great opportunity that I was given to live in Scotland. This is a picture of my family outside Drumlanrig Castle in Scotland. It is because of my mum and dad that I am who I am today. They planted the first seeds of the gospel in my heart and taught me how to nurture my testimony. My parents are my heroes, and I love them more than anything.
Amber reminds me of a lily; an independent flower that looks beatiful every time you look at her. She is the coolest flower you will ever meet. She does just about anything, from repelling to making the world's best sugar cookie bars. Loyal, honest, true, and just about the prettiest thing ever, she's a flower you don't meet by chance.
Amanda "the rose" is a kindred spirit. Caring, audacious, funny, and loving. After all, that's what her name means: love. She is pretty much my look-alike, but she's not quite grown as high as me :) She reminds me every day about how fun girls camp and the temple are going to be. What a faithful flower.
Melanie reminds me of a hibiscus. You know, the hibiscus is a rare flower in my garden. She is delicate and beautiful, smart, bright, and she always smells good. Tell Melanie a joke and she'll laugh. She is a loving companion and is always there to brighten your day with her smile.
Now for the Boys.
This is macho man. He's the corn stalk I guess you could say. He enjoys texting, doing pushups, eating, etc... basically your average teen. But what makes him the best is that he is funny and enjoys having fun. He thinks he's pretty good with the ladies, but I beg to differ. He's really good at just about anything. He's a unique cornstalk though because he plays the bagpipes very well. I love him because he is the coolest kid ever, and I know he has a lot of potential. I believe in you, Spence!
And this here is ninja. Well, at least he thinks he is :) He's Amber's Padowan. He is also the broccoli plant in the garden. Even though he hates vegetables. John enjoys talking and playing with friends. I love to sit by him in church. Mostly because this broc gets bored so easily that he keeps me occupied. John is very smart and the cutest veggie that is grown in my garden. "Hey John, eattcho bwoccowee!"
At Girls camp this past summer, I became best friends with some flowers I hadn't previously known too well. The wind carried their seeds into my garden, and I have been truly blessed by the Gardener. He must have known how much I needed these precious flowers. They are all Daisies in my eyes. I luj them.
This is the pooch. He also goes by Max, Boy, Maxy boy, Bud, Buddy, Doggie, the Dog, You Dog, etc... I love him so much. Dogs are loyal and true, and this one could possibly be a cat. He's small and fun size with an affinity for doggie treats. He enjoys prancing, sleeping, and eating. He does not enjoy other dogs, cats, birds, or going to the vet. :( But he's the most loveable dog on the planet. I promise he won't trample on the garden. He'll just sniff and do whatever else a dog does outside :)
Finalement, mon Sauveur. Il m'aide constament et je l'aime beaucoup. Je sais qu'il vous aime aussi. Je sais qu'il vit.
This is my Saviour. He lifts me up constantly and I love him so much. I know that He loves you too. I know that He lives.
